In 1930 Gioachino Marino became a glove manufacturer managing his own company in Naples, the city where he was born, going on with an old artisan tradition of leather articles hand manufactured.

Despite the difficulties following the great crisis of 1929, in few years Gioacchino Marino saw his company turned in a reliable Firm, able to over come the wartime disasters of the second world war.

Today, Francesco and Giuseppe Marino menage the company founded by their father.

Inside the factory, they have also a tannery and a dyery that let them able to produce virtually every kind of leather in a wide range of colors, using top quality skins ecologically tanned and dyed in order to preserve the high standard materials carefully selected.

The company produces many articles completely "HAND MADE" with linings in cashmere, silk, wool, acrylic, rayon, fur, and it is also proud manufacturing the white long mousquetaire gloves well know as OPERA GLOVES.

Nowdays, the G. Marino, after seventy years, is a real and original sample os "MADE IN ITALY" all over the world.
